You have probably heard about this devastating news on March 11, 2011 when an earthquake occurred in Japan. Its 8,9 magnitude and length of 2 minutes resulted in death of copious amounts of people and most of the building to collapse.
But this wasn’t all for them, soon after a 7 meter tsunami stroked all over the coast of Sendai decelerating as it hit numerous amount of buildings and leaving thousands of more people dead. It was not until hours later that the water currents from the ocean started to subside, they went from Hawaii to California. All people left without a home were moved to capacious public shelters and hospitals to facilitate their safety before they find a new place to live.
The following day was crucial. Adept scientists had to be fastidious in not letting the nuclear power plants radioactivity escape, any mistakes could lead to major health concerns. The Prime Minister of Japan has warned residents to stay inside their home or else they’ll increase the risk of getting radiation sickness.
To this day, the land is still fitful and 150 after shocks are expected to occur. This disaster is an audible alarm from planet earth that it wont permit human actions to continue destroying it.
