On Spring break, I went to the beach with my family and Danelia. We were staying at a house in Buenaventura and the next day some of my parents friends invited us over to a nearby beach named Bijao, were Ana Carolina was staying. When we got there everything was going fine until I got into the pool and left my cell phone there, thrown in a chair. Danelia came in the pool and I asked her if she had seen my cell phone, she said no. At first I thought she was kidding, but then I saw her face, and realized she wasn’t. I asked everybody around and it seemed it had vanished, it was no where to be found. Each second seemed like a minute, I already missed the sound of the keys as I pushed them down. It seemed like a piece of me had been taken away. That day I learned that I should not take for granted the things that I have and appreciate them more.
great memoir. I like how you understand and learned that you have appreciate things more! Also great expressing who you felt :).
